Isle of Eigg Exclusive Seascape Photography Workshop

Join me on the Isle of Eigg for a new seascape photography workshop that’s a bit different from my usual trips. This one is just for 2 guests, purely because accommodation on the island is so limited. We’ll be staying in self-catering accommodation close to both Laig Bay and Singing Sands Beach, with all food included, so you can just focus on your photography without worrying about anything else.

During the workshop, we’ll be focusing entirely on Laig Bay and Singing Sands Beach, spending our days exploring these two locations in different tides, light, and weather. The idea is to really get to know them, to return at different times and create a set of strong seascape images using ICM as well as more traditional approaches if you want to. Each evening we’ll sit down, go through your images, talk about editing and processing, and figure out ways to develop your own style further.

A bit about Eigg itself, it’s part of the Small Isles in the Inner Hebrides. After years of being owned by private landlords, in 1997 the residents came together and bought the island themselves. Since then it’s been run by the community, with a strong focus on sustainability and renewable energy. You can’t bring cars onto Eigg either, which keeps it quiet and peaceful. We’ll be walking to the beaches each day from where we’re staying, taking our time and working around the tides and light. Push Bikes can be hired also.
