​The Isle of Harris in Scotland’s Outer Hebrides, with its sweeping white-sand beaches, rugged coastlines, and turquoise waters, is a paradise for seascape photographers. This immersive workshop is led by experienced landscape photographer Chris Davis, whose passion for capturing the beauty and mood of the coast is reflected in his striking seascape ICM imagery. With over a 5 years of experience photographing Harris, Chris knows the best locations to suit any weather and tide conditions.

The group will be staying in two luxury coastal cottages with breathtaking sea views, providing the perfect base to relax and recharge. The itinerary will be flexible, adapting to the light and weather to ensure you capture the island’s dramatic landscapes at their best. Key locations may include the golden sands of Luskentyre and Scarista, the rocky shores of Huisinis, and the wild Atlantic coastlines of the west.

Alongside expansive vistas, there will also be opportunities to explore more intimate details and abstract compositions using ICM techniques.

Back at the cottages, you’ll have dedicated post-processing sessions where Chris will guide you through his complete editing workflow, helping you refine your images using Lightroom and Photoshop. With small group sizes of just 3-6 participants, you’ll receive plenty of one-to-one guidance tailored to your needs, ensuring you leave with both stunning photographs and enhanced creative skills.

To make the most of Harris’s incredible landscapes, participants should be prepared for short walks of up to 20 minutes with their camera gear, including gentle slopes and sandy beaches.
