Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Chris Davis Photography! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of this website and participation in my landscape photography workshops. By accessing this website and/or participating in our workshops, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Chris Davis Photography's website or participate in our workshops if you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

Workshop Participation

  1. Booking Confirmation: Your participation in a workshop is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if payment is not received by the specified deadline.

  2. Deposits: Deposits for workshops are non-refundable seven (7) days after booking. If you cancel your booking within seven (7) days of making the deposit, you will receive a full refund minus an administrative fee. After seven (7) days, deposits are non-refundable.

  3. Full Balance Payment: The full balance payment for workshops is due three (3) months or 90 days prior to the start of the workshop. Failure to complete the full payment by this deadline may result in the cancellation of your booking.

  4. Cancellation and Refunds: Cancellations made by participants must be received in writing. Refunds will be provided according to the following schedule:

    • More than 60 days before the workshop: Full refund minus deposit and administrative fees.

    • 45-59 days notice : 50% refund - admin fee of £150

    • Less than 45 days before the workshop no refunds are available . Chris Davis Photography reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.

    • If we are able to re-sell your spaces we will happily give a full refund minus a admin fee of £150. 

  5. Workshop Itinerary: Workshop itineraries are subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Chris Davis Photography will make reasonable efforts to notify participants of any changes in advance, in General we aim to be out in all conditions. But we make no set Itinerary.

  6. Health and Safety: Participants are responsible for their own health and safety during the workshop. By participating, you agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the workshop leader.

  7. In the event of ferry or flight cancellations, Chris Davis Photography cannot be held liable for any incurred expenses or losses. It is the responsibility of the guest to make alternate arrangements and bear any associated costs.

  8. It is highly recommended you take out travel & cancellation insurance so that if for any reason you need to cancel the workshop within 45 days of the start date you are covered for any losses.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content from this website without prior written permission.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
