Escape to Cornwall’s wild western edge, where the Atlantic collides with dramatic cliffs, secret beaches, and windswept shores. October brings a bold, untamed energy to the coast, making it the perfect time to immerse yourself in the elements and capture the very essence of this awe-inspiring landscape.

This workshop is all about diving into the storm and embracing what makes Cornwall so unique — the ever-changing skies, the crashing waves, and the raw beauty that’s impossible to ignore. We’ll work with the coastal conditions, from the soft, misty mornings to the intense, turbulent afternoons, learning how to create powerful, imaginative images that reflect Cornwall’s spirit.

We’ll base ourselves in a stunning luxury cottage near Marazion making us centrally located to head south to explore places like Sennen Cove, Porthcurno, Porthleven and Dinosaur beach or head north to Godrevy, Fistral, watergate. Each day, we’ll explore the dramatic coastline, photographing everything from hidden coves to towering cliffs, adjusting to whatever the weather brings. The unpredictable weather will shape our itinerary , so we’ll take it as it comes — capturing fleeting moments of light, storm-swept waves, and the stark beauty of the land and sea.

Away from the camera, we’ll work together at the house diving into the editing process to refine your shots. I’ll walk you through my approach to post-processing, helping you transform your images into something that feels truly alive.

With a small group of just 4 participants, you’ll get plenty of personal attention, with guidance tailored to your experience and vision.

This workshop isn’t about waiting for the perfect moment — it’s about working with what the landscape gives us, learning to see potential in every shift of light, every change in the sea.
